On 25th January, 2023, one of the Embassies accredited to Tanzania, issued a Security Alert advising its citizens to be vigilant of possible terrorist attacks in Dar es Salaam, and other areas in Tanzania. The alert caused unnecessary panic to the general public, foreigners residing in Tanzania and thoseintended to travelto Tanzania. Unfortunately, the security alert was echoed by other Embassies accredited to Tanzania
